We think during the war he was positioned as a soldier in Norwich and therefore met wife Emma, they married after the pregnancy of May Edith Barnett, however, he was later found out to already have another family in London and we think he was arrested for bigamy. We believe he was killed in 1918 in action but have not confirmed.
